SnowGlobe Award Schedule of Events & Contests

Here is a detailed schedule of the events and mini-contests that we will be having during this six-week SnowGlobe Award contest. Participating authors be sure to spread the word and get some votes for your holiday titles!!

November 22-Contest deadline. All entry forms, cover images, excerpts, and pdf versions of the books need to be submitted by midnight to Jennifer@jennifersnowbooks.com

November 23/24-Judging entries and score cards will be emailed out. Good luck everyone!

November 25-November 27-Favorite Cover Contest! During these three days, all of the covers for the participating entries will be displayed here on the blog. Readers, family, friends, other authors are encouraged to vote on their favorite. On November 27, the winning cover will be announced and a voter entry will be randomly selected and both winners will receive a $10 amazon gift card.

November 28-November 30-Catchiest Opening Lines! We all know great opening lines are key to grabbing a readers interest, so during these three days, the opening lines of each book will be posted. Readers, family, friends, other authors are encouraged to vote for the lines they think are the catchiest. On November 30, the winning opening lines will be announced and a voter entry will be randomly selected and both winners will receive a $10 amazon gift card.

December 2-December 5-Most Intriguing Excerpt! During these four days, readers, family, friends, other authors are encouraged to vote on the excerpt they find the most intriguing. Which one makes you want to run out and buy the book? (This one will be a tight race for sure as we have some terrific excerpts to choose from.) December 6th, the winning excerpt will be announced and a voter entry will be randomly selected and both winners will receive a $10 amazon gift card.

December 9-December 14th-Three Rounds of Guess the Author! During these rounds, facts about our authors based on info provided in their bios will be posted and voters will have to guess which facts belong to which author. Three winning voters will be randomly selected at the end of the week (Dec 15th) and will receive $10 gift cards. Sorry, no author prizes for this round:)

December 16-December 20-Favorite Title Contest! Readers, family, friends and other authors are encouraged to vote for their favorite holiday titles from the participating entries in this year's contest. Winning author will be announced December 21 and one voter entry will be randomly selected and both winners will receive a $10 amazon gift card.

December 23-Judging score cards are due by midnight at Jennifer@jennifersnowbooks.com
Author judges will have been asked on the score card for several positive comments about the titles they are reviewing...these will be posted anonymously here during the final judging week:)

December 24-Top three entries will be announced.

December 24-December 31-Top three entries will be judged by an independent published author and three independent readers of romance fiction to determine the winner.

January 1-Winner announced here on the blog!
